Prof. Dr. Mete KARATAY
Prof. Dr. Mete KARATAY graduated from Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He completed his specialization training at the S.B. Ankara Training and Research Hospital in 2007. Previously, he held various positions at the Faculty of Medicine at Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University and worked as an observer doctor at Johns Hopkins University.
Prof. Dr. Mete KARATAY’s medical interests include brain tumor surgeries, spinal cord and spine tumors, pediatric neurosurgery, and complex spinal diseases. His expertise also encompasses advanced neuromodulation procedures such as Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Surgery, Vagal Nerve Stimulation (VNS) Surgery for epilepsy. He performs specialized surgical procedures with neuronavigation and neuromonitoring techniques and has extensive experience in numerous critical procedures and surgeries in his field.
